Systems Check

Whether the need is residential or commercial, Digital Shepherd’s support specialist will provide you with a full assessment of what will need to be done to have your technology working for you. All fees for systems checks are waived to initial clients that purchase design, installation or maintenance services through Digital Shepherd.

Parental Controls

Digital Shepherd will check the systems (whether computer or xbox, playstation, wii, or other entertainment console) that your children have access to and secure these devices to allow parents the ability to control the content that is being offered. These services ensure that your child is not viewing inappropriate content beyond just the computer by including gaming consoles, and some portable devices.

Database Support

Database design, creation, and maintenance are available. Our maintenance plan includes backups of your database. Database conversions are also sometimes an option; analysis of the database is necessary to further explore this option.

Digital Shepherd’s Database support includes MySQL, MS SQL, or Access databases. Please contact us if you need assistance with other databases, as our staff is often still able to provide support.

Web/Email Hosting

Managed Hosting service will ensure that your website is always hosted with security, and provide you with confidence that your website or email will be available even with minimal computer experience. This is done through a pooled server environment with redundant routers to ensure routing is not affected between server pools and the data center. What this means to you is that in the rare event of troubles connecting to the website server - the server will always have a back-up standing by ready to switch to immediately. Service includes email account management including forwarding of addresses, setup of accounts, monitoring of sites to ensure uptime, and first setup of your mail client for your new account.
